Smells heavenly around here

Remember a while ago I shared that I love bottles?

Last night I was going through some of my goodies and decided to make some diffusers.

I still have quite a few bottles of essential oils and fragrance oils (from the bath and body products line) so I thought I would use them. Since the oils are not diluted, the fragrance is strong and true.

Very easy- just decorate your bottles, pour the oil in the bottle (vanilla extract works nicely also)
and place the reed sticks in the bottle. The sticks can be found at any craft shop.
It is a good idea to flip the sticks over occasionally (in the beginning anyway).

My house smells FABULOUS! The large bottle holds an orange oil, and the smaller bottles hold an Amaretto fragrance oil. Yum!

I am still working on my little giveaway. I hope to have something posted later this week.

Hi Barb!

The diffusers are beautiful! You are so talented! I love the decoupage on the bottles. And the scents sound so wonderful! ( I'm afraid I'd want to chew on the sticks though, they sound delicious)

And the new trinkets you're making are so adorable Barb! You have the perfect touch on things like that.

You are still in my prayers sweetie.

Hey Barb!!!

Good to see you back in the saddle! What a lovely idea about the bottles. I am going to try that because sometimes my house smells too much like the good cook that I am, and that means a lot of garlic!!!!

How is your sweet son? GOD BLESS YOU DEAR BARB! Your royal crown sits close by me in my bedroom/library. I admire it's beauty but most of all it is a reminder of your kindness and faith. You are in my prayers. Anita

Hi all,

The house really does smell heavenly (especially with the Amaretto oil-hehe).
I haven't visited many blogs this week. One of these days.....
My son is still in the hospital. We are hoping he will be out for Easter.
I'm not joking when I say my car heads that direction itself. I told hubby the other day that God has been the pilot not the co-pilot.
Thank you for keeping us in your prayers. I know some are very tired of all the prayer requests- oh well. I'll just keep asking away.

What a wonderful idea. I had no idea that diffusers were simply essential oils, nor that the reeds were available for purchase.
I'll add this to my long list of things I'd love to make.
Your bottles are beautiful!

I hope your day is filled with peace and joy.
