Quatre. Yay!

I just realized that this post could be taken 2 ways.

Either newbaby2010 ver.4.0 has arrived or Annika
Is 4 years old today.

Well, my little Princess is a very big FOUR!
This post is dedicated to you my sweet one (blog visitors, thank you for indulging me)

I have to tell you that when I look at the picture of you above,
(1 day old)
I just smile and smile.
What a precious little angel.

Four is a very special age.
Very soon you will become a big sister and with it
comes BIG responsibilities.

You will need to share what you have learned
with your baby sister.

Let her know that it is important to keep
singing her song.
Especially as she gets older.

You are full of joy and joy is contagious.

Let her know that it is important to run her race.
Competition will come at her and the only one you need to compete
with is yourself.
It makes for a much happier life as you get older.

Let her know that it is important to stay true to yourself.
Be who God created you to be.
Let her know that she is an original just as you are.

Let her know the little things are important.

Balloons

Of course, chocolate cake

and castles.
You are a girl after my heart with your love of castles and
of course Princesses.
When you said yesterday that you looked "just like a Princess",
it warmed my heart.

You are perfect in every way.
You have a generous heart, a marvelous sense of humor,
and you are filled with LOVE.

As you grow older, keep those traits and share them with others.
That is what counts.

Happy Birthday sweet Annika.
We love you so much and can't wait to see you again.

Much love from Grandma, Grandpa Ray, and Uncle J.W.

YOU ROCK!

The photo says it all

BENIGN!

I love that word. I think it has turned into my favorite word.
I received the phone call a little while ago and then made
the necessary calls.
I couldn't wait to let you know too.

I am beyond grateful.
Thank you, thank you, thank you God!
(here she goes again-hehe).

I am glad that I put "it" out there.
I really believe that your prayers and positive thoughts
made a difference.
I know prayer can move mountains and so many of you stepped up and out.
I am eternally grateful to each of you.

I am doing the happy dance now- very difficult to type
and happy dance.
I can tell you that this house will be celebrating this weekend.

Yay!

HUGE HUGS.

I was hoping NOT to write this

But here it is.
I was going to write it a while ago but i really
needed to talk with Jeff before laying it out there.

I had the opportunity yesterday (BIG YAY) to talk with him.
We have had this conversation or a similar one many times.
It never gets easier.
Hubby felt it should not be blogged about.
Umm humm, I didn't listen.
There are a few out there that have read my blog since the get go.
You know that hubby married me when I was quite ill.
Personally, I think I would have run the other way.
Just the fact that he felt we were destined to be together
still gives me chills.
The fact that he took on a woman with a serious illness and
a special needs adult son says how wonderful he is
AND
I should be listening to his point of view.
What a good wife I am -hehe!

O.k, I found another lump.
Not going into detail but I can tell you that I am a little nervous.
I see the "man" tomorrow.
I have always had wonderful Dr's and I am grateful
for that.
Yes, I have Faith and that has carried me through.
I know it is not over till God says it's over.
Period.

I am praying for a long, healthy life.
I have a new gran to meet in September and pillows, etc to make.

I just wanted to let you know what is going on.
You are the best.

Sorry hubby for not listening.
love you.

A new Angel watching over us

In my earlier post, I had mentioned that my mother-in law
could use a little prayer.
She passed on this evening and is now one of Gods Angels.

She was an extraordinary lady.
She was a single mom years before you really heard that term.
She worked 3 jobs at times, to keep a roof over her family's head
and food on the table.
She was selfless.

She raised 3 children and buried her youngest son when
he was in his early 20's.
She LIVED, and made this world a better place.
I am so fortunate to have had her in my life
for the last seven years.

Heaven has a new Angel watching over us.
God Bless you. We love you and we
know we will see you again.

Keeping the faith

What a week this has been.
Blessings and complications.

I dropped hubby off at the airport this morning for CO.
Many of you know that his mother has been fighting ovarian cancer for some time.
We try to get up there as often as possible to visit.
He took some vacation time and this visit had been planned for a while.

His younger sister has had some health problems for a while as well.
She fell and broke her wrist and ended up in the hospital.
The broken wrist was a blessing in disguise!
She has been seeing doctors for several years and they really could not find out what the problem was.
Well, they discovered she has progressive MS.
Talk about a shock!

I am holding down the fort (my son has appointments that could not be rescheduled).
I hope to fly up later this week. Time will tell.

The moral of my post......if you think there is something wrong, and a Dr can't figure it out,
Keep going, if you can. Keep going until you find the one Doctor that can put it all together.

Have a blessed Sunday.
I love you all!
