Sweet Sunday

But they that wait upon the Lord
shall renew their strength; they
shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint.

(Isaiah 40:31)

I know that many of us are going through challenging times.
This verse is one that I find comfort in.
I hope you do too.

Thank you! I love Isaiah's verses. I find many things that he wrote to be comforting. I really have to think about them sometimes, but in the end, I find comfort.

Hi Barb...great scripture! The eagle--he soars above the earth and nests in mountain tops.I guess he ALWAYS has a "mountain top" experience! Teach us Lord--TEACH US LORD--to WAIT.
