It is official

Last night Jeff called and also sent this picture.

I was mentally prepared for his deployment on Sept. 15th.
The Army pushed it back but now it is the real deal.

He still has a day or so before he reaches the area
where he will be working.

He sounded fantastic!
He is so excited about being with the Special Forces Unit.
I am screaming in my head (hehe) and noticing
more gray hairs.

What I find so sad is the fact that he deployed alone
(I know we are never alone but you know what I mean).

Everyone who left a comment or sent an email.
THANK YOU!
You have no idea how precious they are to me.

I am keeping busy.
J.W is a full time job but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
I have been blessed.

I have been working on new items and getting things listed
when I have the chance.

Hubby finds it hysterical that the Christmas category
is up. I thought I better do it sooner than later.
Who knows what tomorrow will bring?

There are new items here and here.

I will be making my way around to visit all of you
sweeties.
Staying busy will help the year go by so much faster.

Big hugs and a big thank you.

I was just wondering if you had heard from him. Special Forcees...what an awesome group! How wonderful. I prayed for his health and safety this morning, Barb. He sounds prepared and ready! :)

Ah Barb - when so many of you love him and pray for him Jeff is never alone.....that said, I completely get it! May God protect him and bring him home safely and happily to his loved ones when the deployment is over.

Thanks for keeping us informed Barb. I know you must be concerned and are trusting in God's promises. He is always with you, and with Jeff.

Blessings,

Barb,
So glad you heard from Jeff and that he is happy about the assignment with the special forces. I know there is a big hole in your heart when he's not close at hand, but I hope for you that the year passes quickly and even more importantly, that it passes safely for Jeff.

Blessings my friend,
Debi

As one mother to another I can only imagine how you are feeling. Let me say THANK YOU to both Jeff for being willing to serve and to YOU for sharing him with our country. I know you must feel so proud sometimes that you could just burst! Godspeed to him and His blessings on you as you wait for his return home.
