Oh Barb, It has been so long since we have visited! I honestly wish you a memorable Thanksgiving and that this special day is remarkable in that all of your beloved members are together. How have you been? Life is good; challenges like a new post in my teaching have made this academic year quite emotional and fatiguing, but thank God for work. Blessings to you dear Barb...Anita
I was unaware of Tommy's passing, and with tears welling up in my eyes, I am here to tell you that I am so sorry and that you are brave to have had an animal. All my pets for some reason or another RAN AWAY! teeheee! Or, were given away due to my marrying or moving out of state. Ruben and I want a dog so badly, but I am like my dad in so many ways; he had a dog in his youth that he loved so much and when the dog died, my father just could not handle it and said "NEVER AGAIN!" Well, for some reason, God never allowed my father to see on of our beloved pets pass, but I am too chicken. Their faces, their sweet and innocent manners just speak volumes of majestic divinity to me....God has given us these magnificent creatures to nurture and to TEACH US grace. I am so happy to see you again after a stretch of not visiting with you....it is so very hard to keep up with EVERYONE who has been so kind and wants to exchange comments.
Bless you and your beautiful family dear Barb and thank you for being a kind and wonderful blog friend. BISOUS! Anita
Happy Thanksgiving, Barb! Hope you get a chill in the air out there - so far it's still more like picnic weather instead of cozy Thanksgiving weather here. ;)
Hey! Maybe I should just make some fried chicken and potato salad instead of a big turkey and trimmings, right? Just kidding! :)
Hi Barb, I am cooking up a storm today as we have a big crowd coming tomorrow and my son and his fiancee came in last night. Taking a short break to answer emails. You and yours have a fabulous day tomorrow. :)xoxo Lynn
