A little request

I'd like to add a little addition to your prayer list ladies.
Haiti and the aftermath of the earthquake, is on
everyone's mind and list.
God Bless them.
This request is personal.

Many of you know that my precious MIL has
been fighting Stage 4 ovarian cancer
for a while.
She could sure use some extra prayers as her
physical body weakens.
If you are a praying person, please pray.
If not, please just send a positive thought her way.

I have seen the power of prayer first hand.

Thanking you in advance.
You all are the best.

XOXO

  1. I'm so sorry to hear about your MIL -- you bet. My own mom is now under hospice care with very little time left. I am so happy to pray for your MIL, as I know so many have prayed for my mom.

    Take care,
    Ruth

  4. I'll be praying for your MIL. In the overwhelming tragedy of Haiti's earthquake, it's sometimes easy to forget that others have deep and personal pains as well.

  12. First of all, yes, I'll remember your MIL in prayer. I've made that request too many times to let one pass by.
I have had such a nice read through here again - loved the youtube clip on the French villages. We lived near the Alsace and Ribeaville is well-known to me. I also laughed at your 'love affair' with markets in the Netherlands. We also lived, at one time, not far from Heerlen and Maastricht in South Limburg. The first time I saw an 'ordinary' Dutch market I thought I was in heaven - the flowers were like nothing I'd ever seen before. The smell of the earth, the frying fish, the fresh fish, the sound of the vendors sellling their goods and underpinning it all, that unique language.

  13. Dearest Barb,
Your husband and yourself, you must be exhausted...I remember when my mom had it. It took out the life from me as well. God bless you all. I hope that you son is well, dearest. May God energize you with the peace that comes only from His hands. Thank you for visiting. Bisous, Anita
